Returns & Exchange Policy

Event Hire/Services

  • Due to the nature of event hire, most items cannot be returned or refunded.

  • Grace Period: You have three (3) days after purchase to cancel for a full refund.

  • After three (3) days, please contact info@petalnpop.com to discuss amendments or changes.

  • See General T&C’s for further details.

Products

  • Faulty Items: Eligible products only will be refunded or exchanged within 14 days of delivery.

  • Returns: Customer is responsible for return delivery costs.

  • Refunds: Issued for the item price only (excluding delivery fees).

General Terms & Conditions

  • Website: www.petalnpop.com

  • Events: Includes production of desired presentation piece (Balloons, flowers, backdrop) and, on request/ will include specified product.

  • Products: Items offered as part of an Event, or for purchase from time to time.

  • Order: Your purchase request placed via the Website

  • Us/We: Petalnpop (its owner)

Acceptance of Terms

By browsing, ordering, enquiring, or using our Website in any way, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Terms may be updated at any time, effective immediately upon posting.

  • Website content is provided “as is” without warranties.

  • You must be of legal age within Victoria or have parental consent for minors.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

Your Details

  • You must provide accurate and correct information.

  • Personalised messages are your responsibility. We may edit or delete inappropriate content.

Ordering

  • We may restrict or refuse orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

  • Event Planners and Event Managers are welcome to order.

Communications

  • You must provide a valid phone number and email address.

  • We will attempt contact once only (via phone/email).

  • We are not liable for failed communication due to incorrect/invalid details.

Delivery

  • You are responsible for providing an accurate and detailed delivery address.

  • Delivery may be made to reception/front office if applicable.

  • Incorrect addresses may result in fees for redelivery/misdelivery.

  • Risk transfers to you once the order is delivered as instructed.

  • Unsafe delivery addresses may result in return/redelivery fees.

  • We are not liable for delays or damages once orders are handed to Australia Post or other third-party couriers.

Event Hire Terms & Conditions

Deposits

  • Refundable Deposit: Backdrop deposits will be held during hire . Returned within 1–3 business days after item return if no damage.

  • Service Deposit: (non-refundable, but transferable).

Payments & Late Fees

  • Events under $500: Balance due 3 weeks prior.

  • Events over $500: Balance due 1 month prior.

  • Overdue invoices: 10% late fee every 3 days.

  • If unpaid 48 hrs before the event, booking is cancelled with no refunds, and you may be blacklisted.

Cancellations

A lot of work commences BEFORE your big event. If you cancel your order:

  • 1 month before → Full refund minus service deposit.

  • 2 weeks before → 50% refund OR 65% store credit (excluding deposit + 10% goods fee).

  • 48 hrs before → Sadly, no refund - all has been purchased and a lot of the work complete.

Postponing

If you are postponing your event, funds may be moved to a new date - subject to at least three weeks notice. A 15% rescheduling fee will apply.

Balloon Garland Pickups

  • Responsibility transfers to you once collected.

  • Equipment to install is not provided.

  • Adequate transportation must be arranged.

  • We cannot guarantee balloon integrity after pickup, especially in heat or poorly ventilated areas.

Helium Balloons

  • Made within 1 hr of pickup for optimal longevity.

  • We are not responsible for helium performance after pickup.

  • Avoid extreme heat/cold.

  • No helium balloon releases permitted.

Weather Policy

  • Responsibility for hire items lies with you once we leave site.

  • Rain: Backup location required (final call morning of event).

  • Extreme wind: We may refuse setup. Moderate wind setup may proceed with precautions (sandbags, tent pegs).

  • Weather damage caused under your supervision = loss of bond.

Hire Conditions

  • No refunds if ordered items cannot be used on-site (e.g., unsuitable venue, weather, over-ordering).
